Clinical Psychologist

Providing individual and group therapy

I am an experienced clinical psychologist providing telehealth to clients Australia wide. I provide online DBT skills training groups and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) groups both online and in person.

My practice

I understand that we live in a complex world with many pressures. I am passionate about helping people manage their emotions, reach their goals and build a sense of well-being and balance.

I am trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR, mindfulness and self compassion techniques. I work with clients flexibly depending on their goals and needs.

I am fascinated by neurobiology and sociology as well as psychology. Through these disciplines I understanding the role of therapy as helping to create integration between different parts of our brain, between our mind and body and between ourselves and others. This results in more ease in navigating life's challenges.

I appreciate the distinctive backgrounds and perspectives of each individual. My practice is inclusive, welcoming adults and older teens from diverse cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds, encompassing a wide range of experiences and histories. I am dedicated to supporting individuals across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum and those who identify as neurodiverse, including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

My work spans various areas, assisting those seeking greater meaning in life, addressing stress and burnout, and navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, and complex trauma.

Individual therapy

Therapy can be about managing painful and difficult emotions more effectively, it is also about building resilience and finding a sense of well-being, thriving and meaning in life. These are some of the things I feel privileged to be able to help with.

I have been working as a psychologist since 2009. I am trained in CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR and mindfulness and self compassion based therapy. I draw from positive psychology concepts to help people build meaning and thriving in their lives. I use these theories and therapies flexibly in collaboration with my clients to help them with their goals.
